Create A Progress Journal

In July’s Monthly Income Report I said that I wanted to introduce some new functionality to this website. A way in which other people could record and share their own “property plunges” so to speak. I’m currently in the process of building that functionality. Exciting huh? That’s what this page is about. A way for you to express an interest to create a progress journal. If it’s something you’re interested in, fill in the form at the bottom of this page!

Create A Progress Journal

Some of the benefits of creating a progress journal:

Unsure? Here are some of the benefits I find from keeping my Monthly Reports:

  • Accountability.

By documenting your journey publicly you create a sense of accountability. Each time you write you feel like you should have made progress. Otherwise – you feel a bit silly to be honest! By regularly keeping an account of your progress you force yourself into action.

  • Freedom.

It sounds a bit odd. But writing a journal it gives you a sense of freedom. A way to express yourself however you see fit and share it with the world. There’s no set frequency in which you have to do it either. I for instance publish my income reports on a monthly basis on the website but I also share weekly (in depth) emails with my subscribers. You share as much, or as little as you like. It’s completely up to you.

  • Support.

Sharing your story online opens you up to getting regular feedback and support tailored to your own story. Let’s say you’ve been keeping a journal for the past few months – people can read that and give you some helpful hints and tips specific to where you are now. If there’s one thing I can say for sure too it’s that the online property community are a really helpful bunch!

  • History.

Documenting your journey gives you valuable insight. It lets you go back and review / analyse what you’ve been up to so far. What’s worked well, and what didn’t go so well? When you don’t write anything down it’s very easy to just get absorbed in the problems of today. Sometimes it’s good to stop, reflect and learn.

  • Being Helpful.

Sharing a story feels good, at least in my head anyway. I like knowing that something I write – even if it’s just one little thing may help someone else in their own journey. Doing this gives me a great sense of achievement. You’ll know what I mean if you give it a go.

That’s just some of the reasons why I publish on this website.

Not to mention the countless studies that show by simply writing your goals down, you are more likely to then do something about them!

If you’re interested in sharing your story – let me know in the form below. Once the functionality is set up, you’ll be one of the first with access to publish (completely free).
